چکیده
Limited information is available on what forage rotations and tillage practices increase productivity in the U.S. Great Plains region. The objectives of this study were to evaluate crop rotation effects individual overall system productivity. was conducted from 2012–2020 near Garden City, KS. experiment an incomplete factorial combination four two including sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench]–sorghum (S–S) no-till (NT), triticale [×Triticosecale Wittm. ex A. Camus (Secale ×Triticum)]/sorghum–sorghum–oat (Avena sativa L.; T/S–S–O) reduced till (RT), triticale/sorghum–sorghum–sorghum-oat (T/S–S–S–O) NT, T/S–S–S–O RT, triticale–sorghum–oat (T–S–O) NT. Results showed annualized accumulation with S–S (NT RT) 31–58% greater than T/S–S–O (NT) T–S–O (NT). Annualized water use each order (RT) = > Sorghum 43% 23% a nondouble sequence double after triticale. We concluded that have better diversity continuous rotations.

Nitrogen, tillage, and crop rotation effects on nitrous oxide emissions from irrigated cropping systems.
We evaluated the effects of irrigated crop management practices on nitrous oxide (N(2)O) emissions from soil. Emissions were monitored from several irrigated cropping systems receiving N fertilizer rates ranging from 0 to 246 kg N ha(-1) during the 2005 and 2006 growing seasons. Cropping systems included conventional-till (CT) continuous corn (Zea mays L.), no-till (NT) continuous corn, NT corn...
متن کاملTillage effects on energy use and greenhouse gas emission in wheat-cotton rotation
Crop production process utilizes input energy and produces some biomass energy as output. During this process, greenhouse gases (GHGs) are also emitted which can make environmental risks. In this study, input and output energies, energy indices, and GHG emissions arising from inputs were estimated for wheat-cotton rotation under different tillage practices in Fars province. The study was condu...

متن کاملYield and chemical composition of spring triticale grain depending on cropping and tillage systems
A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the yield and chemical composition of triticalegrain in different crop rotation and tillage systems. The first experimental factor was thecropping system – a) crop rotation and b) monoculture and the second factor was the tillagesystem – 1) conventional (CT), 2) reduced (RT) and 3) no-tillage (NT). The spring triticale yieldwas found to be 15.4% high...
متن کاملinteraction of nutrient resource and crop diversity on resource use efficiency in different cropping systems
introduction with the continuous growth of world population, degradation and ecological imbalance throughout the world, there is a need to increase agricultural production and environmental protection measures. in this respect, efforts to supply nutrients to the environment are at the head of the programs. one of the ways to approach this goal is the use of intercropping systems (najafi & moham...
